Away from the hustle and bustle of the Perambra town, perched on the hilltop of Kallod, St. Meera's Public School (SMPS), Perambra was established in 1998 and is fast emerging as the crown jewel in the area of education in Calicut district under the management of Sai Matha Educational trust. The trust is formed by a group of like-minded individuals with an aim of establishing an educational institution par excellence by imparting quality education.

Started with a handful of students and minimal teaching staff in 1998, today we have grown into a full-fledged secondary school with state of the art facilities and have become an institute of repute. Many batches of children have gone out of our portals after completing their secondary level education bringing the school many laurels both in curricular and co-curricular activities. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the national body of the Government of India in Secondary Education. With an enviable record of 100% pass percentage for all the class 10 batches so far we have become a symbol of academic excellence.
