St. Meera's Public School (SMPS)

Away from the hustle and bustle of the Perambra town, perched on the hilltop of Kallod, St. Meera's Public School (SMPS), Perambra was established in 1998 and is fast emerging as the crown jewel in the area of education in Calicut district under the management of Sai Matha Educational trust. The trust is formed by a group of like-minded individuals with an aim of establishing an educational institution par excellence by imparting quality education.

Started with a handful of students and minimal teaching staff in 1998, today we have grown into a full-fledged secondary school with state of the art facilities and have become an institute of repute. Many batches of children have gone out of our portals after completing their secondary level education bringing the school many laurels both in curricular and co-curricular activities.

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the national body of the Government of India in Secondary Education. With an enviable record of 100% pass percentage for all the class 10 batches so far we have become a symbol of academic excellence. Keeping pace with the rapidly changing world around us we have adopted a blend of traditional and the latest teaching methods that enables us to coach our students to become global citizens who are equipped to pursue their ambitions while imbibing the traditional values that has been an integral part of our culture.

The school hours is from 9.00 AM to 3.45 PM
Late comers must get special permission from the principal to attend the class
SMPS expects the students to attend the class regularly and be punctual.Absence, if any should be notified to the Principal and leave letter should be produced on the day of returning to the school.
Students should wear school uniforms on all working days
Bringing ornaments and any other valuable items to the school is strictly prohibited
Bring the 'pupils diary' to school everyday.
Going out of the school campus during working hours is not allowed without prior permission
Parents are not allowed to meet their wards or teachers during class hours.
To meet teachers, parents are requested to take prior permission from the principal
